Cozy Yellow Cabin in Sololaki

Our comfortable and newly renovated flat is located in the heart of authentic Sololaki, the trendiest district in Tbilisi and the most ideal location to explore and experience what this city has to offer. Everything is only a quick walk away from here: restaurants, bars, cafes, museums and more. Some of them, including grocery stores and pharmacies are open 24/7. Our direct and dear neighbors sharing our common balcony in the back are very respectable people and live here year long. We kindly demand to our guests to show some courtesy and respect to them while staying at our apartment. The historical district Sololaki is fascinating in so many ways. While it is rapidly shaping into the trendiest place in town, it also kept its authenticity and remains one of the most interesting urban districts to explore. More about the courtyard: "The typical Georgian courtyard will impress you by unpredictable shapes, light and elegant wooden arcades richly decorated by carving with unique combination of Classicist and Oriental motifs; crazy combination of numerous superstructures, overhanging bridges connecting houses, spiral staircases, glazed loggias, patches of various materials used during renovations, picturesque bunches of pipes and wires, riot of greenery ... the effect is breathtaking. Historically, the huge balconies were used to be the place of gathering and entertainment. People had tea, breakfast, dinner and sometimes even slept on the balconies. Inhabitants of the courtyards often tell that their neighbors are almost families for them; they are always ready to help each other, or just to spend time around the table in the middle of courtyard or on someone’s balcony eating, talking, singing songs and playing board games. Since most points of interests are nearby, walking is the most convenient way to get around. For any other places, there are very cheap taxis and buses everywhere in the city. The subway station is also 10 minute walk from the flat.
